THE CHALLENGE

Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer is renowned for his work with A-list clientele such as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Victoria Beckham. His line, Lancer Skincare, simulates services offered at his Beverly Hills practice to bring to life his philosophy of “from practice to product.” Though Lancer Skincare was well established in the market, they were seeing competition from an influx of new dermatologist-led and science-led skincare brands with considerable marketing budgets. They had also fostered strong wholesale partnerships with well-loved retailers such as Nordstrom, Amazon, Neiman Marcus, and Dermstore, creating an obstacle to growing their own DTC channel.

THE SOLUTION

OGAKI developed Lancer Skincare’s organic and paid influencer program, consistently gifting influencers with a history of strong conversion. After building a group of brand fans, OGAKI partnered with key creators to create engaging ad content for paid media, driving audiences to LancerSkincare.com. To create the strongest ad content, we asked each creator to speak to their own experiences and results with Lancer Skincare. And to reach a wider target audience, we partnered with creators who represented a range of diversities, ages, and skin types/concerns. We also ran allowlisting campaigns through the influencers' handles, adding another level of credibility and further boosting sales.
